Andrea King has more than two decades of commercial property management experience in Office, Retail Industrial, Medical and Property Owner’s Associations. Andrea King is proficient in all phases of managing properties from tenant build-outs to financial reports, budget and contract preparation, staff oversight and tenant retention/relations through quality customer service whether it be a one-person office or a national tenant.
Prior to joining Avison Young, King was a Senior Property Manager for The Equity Group. She oversaw a portfolio consisting of Retail, Industrial and Property Owner’s Associations. She prides herself with the owner, tenant and vendor relationships she developed through the years.
Before working at The Equity Group, King spent over 11 years at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank formerly Grubb & Ellis and oversaw 1.1 million square feet. Before moving to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Andrea helped manage the Bank of America portfolio in Nevada while working at Jones Lang LaSalle.
During her time in property management in the commercial real estate market, King’s efforts have resulted in five BOMA TOBY (The Building of the Year) awards for her buildings.
Andrea retains an active Nevada real estate salesperson license and property management permit. She also holds a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and a Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation from the BOMI Institute. She currently serves on the board of the Las Vegas chapter of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) as the Advocacy Chairperson. She also served as past President for BOMA Nevada from 2010 through 2011 and 2023 through 2024.
